Just a few simple shots of the Hunters in-game. Not a major update this time...sorry. Rigging infantry sure is a royal pain...

Can you make a video of the Hunter animations?
I tried with two different recording programs but each one did not like this game much... Objects would disappear in the recording, as well as terrain. Things would flicker and stuff...it wasn't pretty :( Sound was crappy too.

Someone else said that too... I was under the impression that you had to purchase that program. I don't want to pirate just to make a video.
It's limited to 30 seconds and has a giant logo on the screen until you buy it, don't, it's crippleware.
Ah...lame. Watermarks are so dumb.
You could try using the ALO viewer with something free like the Screencast-O-Matic (http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/). I don't know how it will turn out, but this tool has been useful to me in the past.
I'll check that out and see what it can do. I think people want to see actual gameplay though.
You said it Farseer! I want to see gameplay, the menu the whole thing in a video. oh, and i dont mean me I mean:

Just wait for the beta ;) Work is being done...in spite of the lack of updates. Most of the work being done atm you can't take pics of...which is why no updates.
Try out ZD soft.. im fairly sure it has a watermark, but its free for 30 days and doesent lag like fraps. Recording times are infinitely long as well. I used it. Works great.

Have you tried using FRAPS to record your videos? That seems to have worked fine for me whenever I've tried recording EaW/FoC.

That far hunter's pose looks straight from CE. Awesome job on everything in this photo.
I was using frame captures as a reference for that pose...you know, take a screenshot of each "keyframe". I'm glad you recognized it from CE because I worked hard to get it that way :)

Farseer, you can record 30 second clips with the free version of Fraps.

They can't shoot at aircraft can they?
Not really, no. I mean, they could, technically, but since their deployed state is an animation, they would not actually aim at an air unit and the fuel rod shooting upwards out of a horizontal gun would just look odd...
Oh! So they are melee units, but if you deploy them they become LAZOR units?
Yes, they fire teh LAZOR when deployed.
Will Grunts (with Plasma Pistols) have a abbility to EMP ships? And Elites have Active Camo?
Yes to all. Grunts only have the "self destruct" ability right now but they are eventually going to have the "Ion cannon shot" which is pretty much what an overcharge plasma shot is anyway, right? lol. Only sec-ops Elites will have camo (and maybe grunts too).
