Again, original model by .Corey. with some tweaks and the texture by me. A lot of you wanted the military variant so here it is...and it's an actual unit. Acts as a transport and I want it to eventually be able to deploy a single Mongoose. For now it's just a transport.
what are its special abilities? I'm thinking spawning troops and mongooses. Great work as always :)

OH MY GOD THIS IS AWESOME!!! IT MILITARIZED!!! and man maps are hard to make! but this will make things a bit more difficult, can we get aproximate sizes, so we can tell how to make the lanes?
If you use the stuff in the land beta for reference, it is about two Scorpion tanks wide or so.

Covies will have the shadow as a lighter land transport but also a little faster. Other than that, no. I figure with stealth units and stuff they wont have as much need for transports.

Overall heavy lifting probably. Think of it like a large winch with a boom attached. The back end is probably open for moving storage in and out of if it's too hard to push in the back.
Wreckage salvaging, debris clearing, bridge laying, and so forth. The military has used cranes for a long time for many tasks.
Looks like I can fit everything and the kitchen sink in there!

From you, I expect them to be able to backflip off of the turrets with the push of a button and be controlled from first person perspectives ;)

Well they are the slowest unit in the mod so i wouldnt really call it a charge... Lol. Um...an elephant trudge?

ive nvr really understood what elepants do. can someone explain? (im kinda of a halo noob lol, ik more bout starwars than halo)
its like a heavy armored transport like can you see the mongoose in the back? it could deploy those or maybe he'll make it so it can carry small vehicles and squads of soldiers. its just a freakin huge piece of armor good for moving day.
They are basically just ARV's or armored recovery vehicles, just like the M88A1 arv. the elephant also is, on occasion, used as a mini base to transport and deploy warthogs, any number of mongeese and other foot soldiers and extra supplies like ammo and ceramic armor plates for soldiers and vehicles.
Its a mobile command and recovery vehicle. Can be used for all manner of utility/transport jobs and double as a field HQ. That is the cannonical answer...not how it behaves in the mod.
