Essentially, I have moved out of my parent's basement and am now the owner of my own little comfortable place. This has caused a lot of chaos, especially when it came to online projects.
However, good news! I've picked Half-Wit2 up again, and making some slow progress. Here's the work that needs to be done divided into sections:
- Background maps. I need to work on these primarily since these are very finite in development, and not all that hard to make. Most of the work goes into the map's entities and architecture. Halfway done!
- Modifying the original half-life maps. This is a lot of work, since new idea's have to be developed for every map and many sections throughout all encounters. Many of these are secret until you actually play the mod, for maximum effect. Except for a few demo sections, not started yet.
- Voice acting. I've got a few characters done, but many still remain to be appointed for a new voice. The problem is the chaos it brings with it, keeping everyone organized and updating regularly. This is on-hold until i have finished the background maps.
So all in all progress is coming, just not very fast. I'd like to say to all the people still listening to updates for this mod - Thanks for keeping tuned. I'll give you a cookie later.P.s. Many thanks to those that helped out so far, everyone that did will be in the (new) credits!
Its not dead? HORRAY!!! =D
