July the fourteenth, 1883: Being rather rudely awakened after a night of drunken revelry; Half-Rats is thrust into a rather dire situation. Utter calamity has erupted in the streets outside of the general store which he calls home - calamity of the most unnatural and horrific kind, that is. Now he and the shop keeper, Mr. Trask, must hold out against this infernal host of creatures together. Will they survive the night?
Undead Chimps will occur in this mod.
Zombie chimp? Groovy.
The last word immediatly made me think of the line: "Alright you primitive screwhead listen up"
It's surprisingly fits within the context.(primitive, got it?)
Are all of my mod's watchers Evil Dead fans? If so, I'm ******* flattered!
Evil Dead fan here too.
*look at my avatar*
Exactly! That's one of the things that prompted me to ponder that possibility.
Can't wait for the TV Show!
The TV show actually looked like it's going to be similar the original movies, which was great to see. And, as an aside, I recently was near Bruce Campbell's Parents' house.
A zombie chimp? Like this mod wasn't already as creepy as it was.
Really well done mate. The last time a fought against undead chimps was in the mod Heart of Evil. This one looks a lot, lot scarier though! Keep going!
The primates in Heart of Evil were actually gorillas, I believe, which, scared me good when I played the original back when I was a kid.
Yep, my mistake here, they were gorillas. Their jumping ability and their high HP made them a fearsome enemy indeed. I really, really hope that a single bullet will be enough for these folks.
Most of the enemies can be killed with one or two shots. That's why I only have 2 weapons.
Phew, good to hear that. Can't wait for the next update :)
The next update will be the demo...I don't have anything new to show...well, I DO, but, I'd like to have some surprises! And the demo is already 80% finished.
Then you gotta up the enemy number. I like the idea of getting a powerful weapon from the start and nothing else then let the player manage the situation on their own.
Oh, there will be! I'll do extensive testing to make sure everything is balanced.
