Half Quake: Useless Soul is a mod, which takes place at the same time as the the original trilogy does.
You're playing as a nameless character who was kidnapped from home and made to take part in the violent "Half Quake" show. But you manage to escape and get to abandoned part of the prison where you find an old time machine. It becomes your only way to escape, but the further you go, the more you question your decision.
You are to visit many different Institutes in different times and you are to try to clean up this situation. And it's far from certain this part is going to have a happy end...
