Sector Cleanup by Krfourmpufive starts out as a rather unchallenging affair. Playing on Hard difficulty I made it through the first map without taking a single hit and was able to max out my armour as well. It does soon step things up with the introduction of the black ops and at times I was genuinely scrambling to stay alive. Unfortunately, the handful of times that I died I feel that the odds had been stacked against me. More than once you will find that a vort has been spawned in behind you without the usual audio queue that you would expect. This results in the author essentially stealing hitpoints from the player, especially when playing on hard and the attack wind up is much much faster.

The finale also felt incredibly unfair, with the outcome largely depending on the ammunition you've managed to save before the fight. I won using my stockpile of tripmines and a handful of handgrenades, but only because the AI glitched and had the boss stuck behind a shipping container for a good portion of the fight.

The maps themselves feel incredibly videogamey, with buttons to control doors in nonsensical spots, far from the door itself. There are also areas where, were there no enemies to fight, made no logical sense. It really boils down to a series of concrete tunnels dotted with crates and other props.

Overall, this wasn't terrible by any means, but between the rinse and repeat gameplay and largely uninteresting area design, its really just average.

I hope to see more from Krfourmpufive in future, to see how they improve.

Not bad, not bad at all. The biggest complaint is that you can't do a full turn with your mouse, there's this thing that it kinda blocks you from turning at a certain point. Solid mapping, good timekiller mod.

Pretty enjoyable little mappack, some sections are a little boxy but fun nevertheless.

It's a neat little map pack, but the mouse problems really ruin the whole experience, i had to put the maps in the gearbox folder and use the console to play them though opposing force.

I assume that this is a 1st time release and it shows..

Many of the maps remind me of the late 99 modding styled maps.

Expect nothing fancy but just a series of connected tunnels and boxy rooms.

What is good that the mod offers plenty of ammo and health so I don't think even the weakest player should've any trouble winning in this mod.

What is good is that he uses lights, door buttons and so on. Most 1st time mods didn't even provide that but his did. That's a plus.

Other than that it's an average mod with nothing memorable in it.

I hope we will see more maps of the author as a basic talent is certainly present at this time.

Just a standard gameplay with arena-style that goes from point A to point B. Nothing special, really. Especially the boss fight.
