I think a lot of people have ever thought about the HL2 remaster, maybe a cinematic mod? HL2 update or Mmod? HALF-LIFE PLUS is a direct remaster of HL2, assets taken from new games from Valve, improved textures, weapons, etc. The main feature will be attention to small details and rethinking of the game in connection with the release of HL: Alyx. I'm going to release a demo, a couple of builds, after the release of 4 different versions: 1. absolute canon, without using from HL: A, new weapons and new animations.2. no canon, old enemies from the beta, new weapons, new maps that were not in the original, and additional chapters from Epistle 3.3. classic canon, but with a large arsenal of weapons, active Overcharged style gameplay.

I refused the HL2 remaster due to lack of experience in modding, and due to the fact that there are people who can do what I want: HL2 on Source2, HL2: Remastered collection, and so on. I think in the future I will continue development, but while I have a lot of other ideas, like cool mods or games that will not be related to the Half-Life universe. HL:Plus itself was not a remaster, it was an addition to the game, that is, more open locations, more enemies, weapons, but not like Overcharged did, but in a completely different way, you can say: Half-Life RPG, I don’t I don’t remember what I wanted to implement then, if at least someone reads it, then if someone needs it, I can find old HL:Plus builds and post them, that’s all for now, thanks to everyone who waited, good luck, and wait for the announcement of my new project, bye!

I think you should play Half-Life 2: Overcharged before making this mod to learn how to *not* make a mod.

I suggest browsing through Overcharged's reviews section and maybe taking a note or two. It's currently at 5.5 average score with over 50 reviews.
It's p much one of these "SUPER DUPER COOL OVERHAULS" where the author just steals a bunch of assets from different mods and games, edits a few values in weapons config, and calls it a day.
