Half-Life Out Of The Dark, is a mod about a scientist experiencing the after disaster of the black-mesa facility. This mod will be action packed with a bit of easy puzzle and jumping. You start your journey in the hev suit! Should be aroung 30 to 45 minutes of gameplay. This is my first half-life 1 mod ever.
Half-Life Out Of The Dark is my first half-life 1 mod ever. Im new at hl1 mapping, but i actually got pretty good already because ive been mapping for the game black-mesa for two years now and jackhammer is pretty similar to hammer source with a few differences of course. This mod should last around 30 to 45 minutes. This mod is a work in progress there will be alot of changes and maps to be added. This mod wont require any hl dlc, i wont use custom content at the exeptions of textures maybe.
The first demo is available, including the 2 first maps, the maps in that demo might get a little change with time.

thanks man, honestly i think the level design could be better i might do a revamp when i got to do more maps hehe. Never thought my unrealeased mod would get a bit popular already tbh lol haha

Hi, just played it! It's good, I only had some performance issues in second map. I really like how spicy it can get if you don't think fast, expect some complaints about that, but it was fun for me even on hard difficulty; ...maybe the vents can be a problem, like.. there isnt much to do against those headcrabs, it kinda kills the pacing we had five seconds ago. But it's good nontheless, looking forward to its full release!
thanks for your honest opinion and suggestions thats what i like to ear. I honestly didnt had any performance issues in both map, but ill se what i could do for that, its optimized with hint/skip but i will see how i can improve that. I might reduce the numbers of headcrabs in the vent and make them walk a longer distance instead of attacking you when you turn right around a corner, that should help. I wont lie im deborded with source 1 project haha, but i do enjoy making that mod alot too, expect alot of updates and changes before final release, i kind of like to get my thing to perfection so i will take all the time it need :)
