The main purpose of this modification is to create a port version of Half-Life: Opposing Force. Which means that the whole game will be ported over to the Source Engine. I will port all sounds, models, effects, materials etc. And configure them to work with the the Source Engine. If what i have just stated still is a bit confusing to you then basically what i am doing is creating a Half-Life: Source version of Half-Life: Opposing Force. So that Half-Life: Opposing Force will get the updated features such as updated water, shaders, models, textures and much more.
Hello guy's. Today i would like to have a really important talk with you. There are two thing's: good and bad new's. Let's have a start with good new's. I have released the source code of my straight port to the Source Engine, called Half-Life: Opposing Force: Source. There are C++ Source Code, Models Files and Mod Files. You can just continue my project, but don't forget about giving a credits of the author of the mod, who made this mod, so, that's me. So, what about bad new's. The bad new's are that i can not find the GoldSRC to the Source Engine mapper. As you know, the map porting progress from GoldSRC to the Source Engine is really hard work to do. So, if you are really good in porting map's, you can just continue my Source Engine port, because you have got practically all you need: C++ Source Code, Models Files, Mod Files. So, good luck and have fun. I hope you will finish it, because it will be really cool to see port of Half-Life: Opposing Force on the Source Engine. Thank's.
