The chapter 4 is complete and some new screenshots.

Greetings!

It's been a little while since the last update, but something happened between the development and cost me some time to get working on this mod. But finally it's all over and got to finish working on Chapter 4.

I've also took the time to rework some parts of the last update regarding the forth chapter. But still, it's mostly the same as seen in those screenshots. So, i'm not gonna bother showing again the same screenshots. You can still see them in this article.

Silo Corridor (insecure04)

Trash Compactor (insecure04)

Lambda Sector Transport (insecure04d)

Offices (insecure04d)

Wrecked Lab (insecure04d)

Waste Disposal (insecure04c)

Wrecked Cargo Train (insecure04c)

Good looking stuff there, I assume you're visiting places from Opposing Force? Given the similarity on a few places, if it is indeed the Pit Worm, I always wondered how people would expand on it

Keep up! Looking forward for more.

Best regards,

In fact, you'll revisit a lot of Half-Life parts in this chapter.

Great work, the corridor feels spooky and the wrecked cargo train one remind me that level from Opposing Force, It's nice to see more mods on the resonance cascade respective

Good luck,

Fantastic news, my man! Hopefully The Second Demo will be the last so you don't spoil the whole product!

Wonderful news. Your mod is among few that I'm looking forward to quite a lot.

Since these pictures are not in the Gallery I will comment on them here:

Silo Corridor (insecure04
A simple but solid design it looks good. Perhaps add some minor chambers with steel fences and valves and barrels behind them as we saw in Blue Shift in the Sewers to enhance things visually a bit.

Trash Compactor (insecure04) Maybe add on top few steel fuse boxes housing circuits for the crusher machine.

Lambda Sector Transport (insecure04d) Very lovely area. Eventually some piles of blood along with dead bodies of Aliens or Black Mesa Personnel on the floor somewhere?

Offices (insecure04d) vary the book shelves a bit. Perhaps the office place in the middle has more red books than blue books and in another order. Try to avoid copy/pasting to much. That being said I'd add little more variety on the work spaces. A family picture here and there. Maybe a coffee cup, a smaller office lamp on 1 of the tables etc.

Wrecked Lab (insecure04d) Solid design. I assume the ceiling is yet still unfinished.

Waste Disposal (insecure04c) my biggest criticism yet. The wall textures are if memory serves Xen environment textures. They could also easily serve as waste texture granted. What I dislike here is the fact that they are perfectly mirrored on both sides. If this is truly supposed to be waste of sorts that sits on the walls then I'd vary shape and form more often. The whole corridor doesn't make much sense with said texture being used here.

Wrecked Cargo Train (insecure04c) We're seeing the same texture again but here it looks good. I'd eventually extend the green radio active acid a little further outwards. Don't add perfect 90 degree angles for such paddles. Now I assume that there's some sort of ledge there which prevented it of flooding the entire room. But perhaps a tiny bit spilled over?

All in all are these wonderful screenshots.

Thanks for the comment! I'm still getting used to the hammer editor since last time i've opened. I was a bit rushed by doing the details and focusing on playing and theme until looked a little bit decent. Surely afterwards, i'll get on polishing all this stuff and give these maps a better picture than this.
