Developed for Half-Life Episode Two by Hunk Guerrius, the launcher is used to easily configure game settings before start, but most of them can still be edited in-game.
Will the launcher auto-detect settings best suited for the PC it's running on? I know my PC can handle Trinity, just curious. :3
No but there is a preset mode to quickly configure all settings
