Grim and foreboding was my intent, this is a connecting corridor between the car park to the outdoors.
I always felt that Half-Life's interiors give off a creepy and barren vibe, being built upon an old cold war missile silo. I got the impression that funding went to the Lambda Complex and sector C, which are much nicer and shiner. I wanted to convey this part of the complex to be a little more neglected and still showing the old function of the place!
It looks nice , but a little grimm for a workplace.
