2nd recommendation. Use the null texture next to that scientist and below the actual railway and basically anywhere the player can't look or walk at.
It reduces the time the compiler needs to compile your map and is performance friendlier also. So if you got maps that are lagging a bit you can accomplish wonders with the null texture.
