Best Half Life 2 mod ever made
We've seen many mods that try to recreate the original HL2 Beta storyline but RTB:R is the kind that could finish development and be put on Steam.
To notice is the fact that the RTBR Team periodically updates the public on the mod status with ModDB articles, videos and occasionally streams.
Another thing to note is the fact that not only their recreating the HL2 Beta but are creating spin-offs on Father Grigori and the Portal Beta which are ambitious, but the completion of RTB:S shows that they are more than capable and are working tirelessly to bring us a masterpiece.

Easily the best HL2 Beta themed project so far
This isn't just a rebuild of the original work, this is a slight reimagining. Building on that original work. And it does it so well. Genuinely one of the best Half Life 2 mods ever made. It's up there with Entropy Zero, Black Mesa, and Minerva. Which reminds me I have to play Minerva again.
All said and done, this is the best HL2 experience I've had in a very long time, and I'm definitely going to donate to the team, since they've earned it. I do hope they can finish this, and release it on Steam.
If you haven't done so, I highly recommend you give it a try. Since the old beta content, the WC map pack, and the book Raising the Bar holds a very special place in my childhood. I used to obsess over stuff like this.
