he looks kind of like the moon version of the Waffen SS from Wolfenstein: The New Order in my opinion. I kinda like it.
I have to agree with Jack, that's an excellent version of the Combine Elite.
I like how you are making their armor look more advanced than simple kevlar vests. It bugged me a bit in HL2 how they were supposed to be alien-made transhuman cyborgs but used more-or-less basic attire.
This is pretty cool, undeniably a Combine elite but a little more aggressive-looking and intimidating.

I can't wait for a chance to shoot him! The one thing that bugs me though is that he's a bit too slim. The OG combine soldiers had a lot of armour on them and this one looks like he's wearing CP vest.
i do like that theyre going with the japanese style
I can assume that, upon rising to a higher rank, the soldier went through another tortuous process of surgery throughout his body; suffering massive anatomical alterations and including forced lengthening of his skull.
I like how this is based on actual concept art.

For a Combine elite, he sure doesn't have much armor.
