I like 5 the best
I pick number 5 due to the fact it seems the more Captain and the more Army General ish.
I think 6 is the best, but 5 would definitely be my second choice.
I like 5, it's the closest to the concept art. (iirc)

Have you not seen any of his concept art?
im saying because logically it seems like it would be harder to move around in a suit
naturally but not a lot of stuff in the beta or even in retail HL2 make logical sense, so a bit of overthinking is just gonna hurt your head

Stalkers? Expending a huge amount of energy lobotomising humans to be used as sub-par servitors as opposed to just doing maintenance via automated technology doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Or how the Combine use weapons from human manufacturers instead of their own weaponry. Or how Alyx doesn't wear any of the heavier protective clothing that rebels do. Rule of cool >>> rule of realism, which is what we will be following.
I prefer the number 2 version, it looks the most militaristic.
5 screams Captain and gives me the vibes of the original concept art.
I'm stuck between 3 and 5.
I kinda like 6 better, I know 5 more resembles the concept art, but the coat looks a little weird alongside the rest of his apparel, the sweater/shirt/jacket thing he wears in 6 just looks better IMO.
I'd pick option 5 too
