For this recurring segment, we will be highlighting the five biggest stories on ModDB for the prior week. Whether it's new mod announcements, major mod releases, or important stories that affect the mod scene as a whole, you'll find them rounded up here each week.
The Week of June 15 2018
An unofficial remake of a singleplayer mod "Azure Sheep" for Half-Life 1. With great exclusion, everything that does not correspond to the canons of the original game will be cut out.
Graphics Enhancer for Star Wars Battlefront II. Make your game more realistic by normalizing color saturation, improving game lighting, sharpening the image, using a more subtle bloom and attempting to make the mod compatible with ALL the maps.
In an interview with Youtube Gaming (via PC Gamer), Bethesda Softworks' Todd Howard confirmed that mod support will be coming to Fallout 76 – however, it won’t happen until sometime after the game launches.
A redux of the cancelled mod from August 2016. Utilising content from developer repositories and some originally created parts, Half Life 2: Raising the Bar Redux will aim to recreate at least part of the vision the original developers had for the game. RTB:R centres around a thematic melding of the HL2 Alpha, Beta, and Retail concepts, as well as our own ideas, to create a unique and complete experience.
The Source version of the successful International Online Soccer mod. A third person football mod that allows each player to take up a position on the pitch and play in exciting online multiplayer football matches.
Those are all really great looking mods! Good luck to all the teams!
Thanks for the feature again! And, uh, yeah, the link seems to be broken on RTBR :)
It's nice to see our project here =)
I played Azure Sheep like 15 years ago (lol) but I am looking forward to your take on it in Source. :D
The "Graphics Enhancer for Star Wars Battlefront II" look's amazing..
