To install:
1. Download Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer
2. Right click in your library and select properties
3. Navigate to the "betas" tab and select the branch as "upcoming"
4. Unzip the downloaded zip file
5. Drag the RaisingTheBarRedux_Div2 folder and its contents into your Sourcemods folder in your root steam directory
6. Restart Steam
7. The mod should now appear in your Steam library.
I downloaded the sdk, set it to upcoming beta, extracted the mod, moved the V2 folder into steamapps/sourcemods and I've restarted steam, but its still not showing up in my library.
Hi, just to double check - your folder structure should lead to the root mod folder, not have a duplicate folder which *then* leads into the root folder?
Yes. I have the folder with all the mod contents in my sourcemods folder.

Chrome downloads, painful as always
Hello! Everything is very cool, but for some reason I have almost no Russian voice acting and subtitles, although both are selected in the settings. How to fix it?
Hi, we do not have Russian voice acting or subtitles ready in the game so they will not work. Sorry.
Do you have any plans for the future to do both?
Subtitles potentially, voice acting no.
It's a pity that you don't want voice acting... And you haven't decided with subtitles yet, then? If you are interested, I can help with them. To try, at least. It's just that I haven't had such an experience yet.
We have Russian team members who can handle subtitles. It's hard enough to find a solid voice acting cast in English without us having to double-up in a foreign language which very few of us would be equipped to properly evaluate the quality of, which is why we will not be pursuing voice acting in other languages.
Well, I can understand you... But thanks for the answer anyway) I will hope at least for subtitles)
Heck yeah.
I beat my head on the table.
This is incredibly good!!!
for some reason. when i try to subscribe to winzip so i can actually play this, it gets stuck loading. how do i fix this? its frustrating.
Hi, you can also just use 7zip (a free zipping tool) to extract the content.
Anyone having difficulty installing the mod: The unzipped folder goes into the sourcemods folder where your programs files are where Steam is installed i.g: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods
I'm happy to see Ravenholm. Damn, this mod has so awesome atmosphere, and hd models are fitting well too (for me). But not enough subtitles, yes. Sometimes hard to understand easily what some characters are said.
Love the mod! But the mudskipper feels frustrating and stiff to use.

I loved this, here's the feedback wall of text:
Division 2 was so awesome, Raising the Bar Redux may be one of the most artistically immersive things I have ever played, I love the urban decay combined with the surrealist industrial style it has, the urbex fan in me was thoroughly entertained. I must have spent so many hours taking in the environment, just standing in places and admiring every detail, imagining what was the story behind all of these scenes that the level designers had set up, what people were doing before they left/died, what was the purpose of these spaces. I feel like I could boot up this game just to vibe with the ambience.
The mudskipper section was pretty fun, I'm one of those people who enjoys Water Hazard, so I had a blast with this chapter, the Xen flora made the canals feel so different, so full of life. I like how you folks made the helicopter boss battle feel distinct from vanilla. I just wish I could have used the jetski lol, just for the memery.
I had a hard time with the sequence where you defend Alyx in Eli's lab, but I must make a very important clarification: I tend to double the health of the Combine troops in whatever I play, to make the game more challenging, and this time I suppose it backfired immensely on me, so I'm not the right person to judge whether that sequence was easy or hard, because I'm not playing the game as you intended, but there are a couple things that are fair game for me to talk about, the first one is that it was not clear enough to me when Alyx was done, I left her because I couldn't realistically hold that position with my dumb difficulty tweak, thankfully the Combine didn't actually attack her (I think?), so at some point she finished her job and ran for it, she didn't say anything as far as I could tell, the subtitles didn't show her saying anything at least, so I just kept fighting the Combine (and dying a LOT, like a *******) for a few more minutes, until I noticed that there were some red lights on, and then I got closer and I heard the klaxon, that's when I finally understood that I could get the hell out of there. I think maybe it would be a good idea if the player could "win" briefly, before another wave of Combine soldiers comes in force, just so that the player has time to breathe and assess the situation, and if they happened to have strayed away from her like I did, then they would notice that her job is done.
Second thing: for whatever reason the Physgun didn't feel "grabby" enough to me, maybe I'm misrembering things, but I feel like the vanilla Gravity Gun was "grabbier", there were a couple instances where I was trying to grab a grenade on the floor with the Physgun, and to be fair I was not aiming at it with pinpoint accuracy, I was scrambling to get the damn thing before it detonated on me, but I failed both of those times, in my mind it felt as if the "pull cone" (if there is such a thing) was too narrow to grab things that were slightly off the crosshair, and I felt that I could have pulled it off if I was using the Gravity Gun, but maybe that's just all in my head, and there's nothing different about how the Physgun works, you'd know best either way.
On Ravenholm, I had to turn on the power to progress, I stepped on the water with the power on and got shocked by it, and the HEV said "warning! hazardous chemical detected" which is probably something to fix.
Also on Ravenholm, I got lost and ended up somewhere I was not supposed to be, I jumped through a broken window in the warehouse where the second Gonome was, stacked some boxes like this and kept going, I thought I was going the right way, I only realized I was out of bounds when I started seeing the unrendered bits: I.imgur.com
I wish there was something that could be done for Gonarch (before the chapter's finale that is), like a button on that console nearby that would release a neurotoxin that would give it an end. I really didn't like leaving them there like that, and the digger was a bit too violent of an end for my tastes.
Thanks y'all for your hard work, I really appreciate how much effort and artistry goes into this, this project is just exceptional, and I love it, like I said at the start haha.
