GUNSLINGER mod is S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat weapon-related modification, which is not ordinary armory expanding or balancing mod. This mod overhauls the original first-person point of view to true quality vision with every movement looking natural and every weapon behaving like its real counterpart. Using items like med kits will be visible to you now, weapon jamming will have its own unique animation and upgrading your weapon will be another big point of your survival in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – every weapon have it’s own upgrade tree which consists of suppressors, scopes, laser sights and etc.
GUNSLINGER mod will make your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience more immersive with the animation overhaul and challenging since using items will have it’s own requirements (like taking off your mask) and will cost time. Controller will now play with your mind so hard it can make you suicide. So reload your gun, prepare some pills and med kits before going out. That’s how you play GUNSLINGER mod.

GUNSLINGER Mod (build 2020/02/07) is available. In the beta version of the mod, absolutely everything is available weapons, mechanics and innovations demonstrated to this day. All unfinished weapons were cut out and replaced with existing ones. This avoided various problems (crashes, distortion of proportions and animations while holding in hands, etc.), get rid of the feeling of unfinished work (there are fewer weapons than in the original, but the mod looks high-quality and complete). At the start, an improved classic set of exo-arm models from the new set is installed. The remaining hand models from the new set will be introduced gradually, until both sets are divided into two separate full-fledged ones.
Patch Note:
• The hero will be less thirsty
• New option "3d scopes". Allows you to turn off 3d scopes and roll back to the original 2d nets of optical scopes (for weak PCs).
• Better shader for the 3D night-scopes (increased visibility)
• Mip-maps for the textures
• Upgrade for the Walther P99
• Advanced inventory and trade window for wide screens
• Increased overdose chance on the master mode
• Quenching thirst with energy-drink and hercules
• Exoskeleton less prone to breakage
• Faster zoom in the Gauss optics
• Removed flash when fired with a silencer
• In the quest for the murder of mercenaries in Pripyat, an SVD is issued with the scope and silencer installed
• New hand models for the closed suits
• Fixes ui detector. The icons of artifacts and anomalies on the Veles and Svarog detectors are of normal size
• Animated suicide for F-1 Grenade
• Nerf characteristics of Saiga
• Disabling the need to remove the helmet / armor for eating
• New sounds of shooting gauss
• Original Gaussian batteries now provide accurate shooting (as in the original), while Cardan batteries have worse performance
• Fix the original bug with autocapture of the target: often shows opponents who are actually behind
• Disabling binocular auto-capture frames
• A new upgrade to autolock targets at Gauss

You guys should do a video comparison of vanilla vs gunslinger, even from the consumables that lack one in vanilla.
Oh god... When this comes out I wont see sunlight again...........
.. I really don't know how yet, but I will figure out a way to hold on to life at least until I have been able to play this mod once..
.. and then I will start one last game and play until a sudden encounter with a bloodsucker has it grabbing me while my blood dries out within my veins, thus taking away any further opportunity of replaying this mod while my cold right hand index finger rests rigid and lifeless atop my left mouse button and my eyes lose their focus on that bloodsucker's hungry, loving gaze into mine.. X|
I cannot wait for this. Really. I've always wanted something like this to come for COP. Everything looks MINT. Something I bet me, like others, would even be willing to pay for.
Is this mod going to use existing gunfire sound which are already in use in other mods or new ones? Is it possible to use real gunfire sounds?
