As usual I am hard at work on menus, scripting, particle effects, sounds and the overall design of the mod. One of the combat systems is 99% done while another is about 50% done. I still have a melee system to get into and currently it sits about 25% done. I've got big plans for it including a Mortal Kombat style X-Ray damage system that will be as good as possible using the Max-FX 2.0 engine.
Ornbine is back on board to helm the animations side of the mod. He's already hard at work on reworking some animations that I've made so that they won't look like noob garbage, and he's also making some new stuff. Glad to have him back.
AndersenTheMuss will be taking care of our model rigging side of the mod. He's responsible for rigging and putting together the head and body for the Grave model. Thanks to him there will be new enemy models as well as boss models. -I'm bribing him with particle effects. Don't tell him that they're actually knock-offs. :P-
A new very important improvement to our team is the addition of none other then Hallowee4 himself who will be heading the long hard battle of making new custom maps. We're aiming for a short campaign similar in size to the original Gungrave. Expect some all out gunfights and gameplay very similar to the 2 original games.
I'm also planning on creating new graphic novel cut scenes to put the new story together in between maps. Voice over work is also planned but at this time we're focused on the core of the game. We will be asking for help with that when the time comes.
We're going for a very pro look to the game and hopefully we can pull it off. If anybody is willing to help out and has some skill using this old engine feel free to speak up. We may be able to use you.
oh boy : )
Thank you for your work
