The Gothic Reloaded Mod is not a typical mod. In contrast to other mods, which try to create or add an additional storyline, characters, items or quests, we will enhance the graphics of the original game "Gothic" by Piranha Bytes, published in 2001.

Die Gothic Reloaded Mod ist eine Mod der "anderen Art". Bei den meisten Modifikationen geht es darum den Spielern eine neue, packende Story mit neuen Charakteren, Items und Quests zu bieten. Bei uns geht es hingegen darum, die Grafik des Originalspiels "Gothic" von Piranha Bytes aus dem Jahr 2001 optisch aufzuwerten.

Once I thought, it's a good idea to open an account for Gothic Reloaded Mod on ModDB, but I was wrong. It's troublesome to post and upload content twice (on our homepage as well as on ModDB). For that reason, I will stop my activity on ModDB after this news.

Ich dachte einst, es wäre eine gute Idee hier auf ModDB einen Account für die Gothic Reloaded Mod einzurichten, aber ich habe mich geirrt. Es ist einfach lästig auf unserer Homepage und hier alles doppelt zu posten, doppelt hochzuladen, etc. Daher werde ich mit dieser News unsere Aktivität auf ModDB einstellen.
Schaut doch lieber mal auf unserer Homepage vorbei, vielleicht gibt es dort bal wieder etwas zu sehen? Auf jeden Fall öfter als hier.

Is this mode dead?
At least post the new version info ,not hard to do ,about 3 or 4 words :).
dibdob They have not posted it, but one of the admins did. The demo is from 2017 and all the info, which you need to know is at their website: Demo.gothic-reloaded-mod.de and at the official forum: Forum.worldofplayers.de

Leute ich wünsche euch vom Herzen fiel erfolg, da Ihr nicht finanziert werdet bitte ich euch; euch nicht zu überfordern den es ist eine riesige aufgabe. Viele haben angefangen und konnten es nicht beenden.
Daher last euch ruhig zeit den eure Arbeit sieht echt gut aus:)

I have Gothic Universe I tried to reinstall Gothic 1 and it wants to install into systems folders instead of the normal C: drive? Won't run... :(

The mod is up, but i can't install it for Gothic folder. It only wants to install on Gothic 2...
Any one manage to make it work?
