A single game conquered the hearts of thousands, but time moved it to the realm of memories... But it's alive. It's back.

Post news Report RSS Vote for Gothic Multiplayer on the MOTY 2011 Awards!

The Gothic Multiplayer was published on the 23rd of January, 2011. It took us about half a year to create our constantly crashing app, but the whole process was going on for about 2 years, during which we’ve created the multiplayer.

We were the first guys to publish a mod allowing players to play their sweet Gothic game over the net. It’s already been 10 months since the grande premiere of the first public release. Have we made any progress during this time? Well, that’s a question for you to answer.

We’re giving GMP out for free. Our mod has been downloaded over 100 thousands times and still counting, which is quite of a motivation for our team.

Now you have the chance to give the love back (and motivate us even more!). If you appreciate and respect our efforts and you’d like to thank us – now is your time.

A prestigious site known as ModDB, fully devoted to all of the game mods, has yet again started another, 10th edition of the Mod of the Year awards. It’s something similar to Game of the Year awards, but it’s all about game mods created by fans all around the world.

All you have to do is to click the banner that’s flashing somewhere beneath this paragraph. Just push the “VOTE FOR THIS MOD” button. There is a possibility of voting without creating an account, but (for your information) this may prove to be somehow problematic. We would highly appreciate every single one of your votes, even if you are not willing to create a proper account, but you are logged in. A vote from a person with some past is much more powerful than the one from a new user (still, it’s stronger than a vote from a guest). Your vote truly matters, my friend. And, of course – THANK YOU.

If you’re logged in, you may even give our mod a score of your choice at the “Community Rating” part of the site. You can write a review, too (it doesn’t have to be written in english).

On the 11th of December all of the votes will be counted by the vote counting people, who will give us the list of TOP 100 mods of 2011. Both our goal and our dream is to safely jump right into the one of safe and warm 100 places.

We would like to thank all of you, who are willing to help us out.

Always yours,

The Gothic Multiplayer Team
