Gothic 2 - Riisis Edition - Announcement and Teaser Trailer

I'm currently working on my Gothic 2 Mod. The so called "Riisis Edition" will be a Content Mod for Gothic 2.

I decided to upload a little teaser for my mod to gain a little bit of attention. I need your ideas, so please leave a comment, interact with me and give me an idea of what you would like to see in a Gothic 2 content mod. Some things you miss since release or features other Mod's haven't included.

But for now enjoy my little Announcement Teaser:

I just want to make the game feel like it was back in the day, but with more lore-friendly content. Mostly new items, enemies and completely new ways to play the game and much more.

Can you detail please what new elements your mod will bring to the story and game mechanics?

Is it possible to create new spells? If so, how about a healing spell that heals others. Could be useful in combat.

Could be a good thing, if you want to experience this right now i would recommend the nostalgic edition, there you can experiment with this! :) EDIT: That being said yes i'll create new spells i looked it up, and It's possible. :)

Since i played through G2 NotR with your texture pack gotta say nice job
The only textures that stood out as bad were master paladins red-tinted plate armors (the regular paladin armors actually look very good) and maybe the circle of water armor replacement (that shadow armor model is a bit clown-y)

Thank you :))

Yes my Texturepack isn't the roundest one armor-wise. I want to make another version with a better armor-composition. The 1.5 and 1.6 weren't that nice. The regular Paladin-armor-textures were made by me especially the helmet. :) the master paladin's were picked from a pool but i'm not quite happy with it either. :)

I see you included in also Wasteland Mod.
Haw about L'Hiver?(for new world and Jharkendar) I think it will be an awesome addition fort the mod, but make the high vegetation optional. Because some people love it others (like me) hate it, because of the low poly ...
If you want to add new quests/dialogues with Adobe Voco you can inspect the desired voice and recreate after from text.

I won't add the L'Hiver mod, it is just to much for my mod. The Wasteland Mod adds Places and Location from Gothic 1. I have my own plan in mind regarding this Topic so be patient. :)

To recreate a voice with AI isn't the best thing to do, for now. I will add a few dialogue's but only dialouge that's already included in Gothic 1+2 will be used to create new dialogue.

EDIT: But thanks for your suggestion it helps nonetheless. :)

are you able to create new magic spells. or would you work with what we already have?also i prefer a more open world , like some mods have.

To create more magic spells is no Problem.

How do you mean this? A more open world need more places, quests, monsters and so on.

i meant that some of the mods open the map up, so you can get to new places , rather than go round a massive mountain for example.
