Gore Obsessed is a Doom 2 mod in which you visit an old deserted castle. You are there on a dare by one of your friends. No one that has gone inside has ever come back. You figure that they got lost, or didn't have enough supplies. But you think you're smarter, and decide to go. $500 is waiting for you if you come back out alive after staying overnight. Easy as hell, right? Well, while inside, you'll discover the real reason why nobody came back...

Today, when I was putting the final touches on MAP01 (I was putting in textures into the WAD and changing/adding graphics as I was going on before, I really started to pay attention to map detail), I decided to save it. Just like I had many times before. Only problem is my PC freaked out, and then said it had to do an Automatic shutdown. I figured "its ok, I saved a lot... " Well it's not ok. Turned my PC back on, got the update it wanted me to, opened up Doom Builder 2, selected open file, went to select MAP01 and... it was gone. Completely gone. Went right to MAP02. I oepned it with XWE. MAP01 still nonexistent. I figured oh well, at least all the changes are still there.... NO! THEY'RE NOT! tried to start over on the map, and Doom Builder freaked out because tons of files were missing. This is just a minor setback and I fully intend to keep working on it.

Oh that sucks, yeah try not to lose motivation when crap like that happens, I get it all the time when a game crashed and I don't wind up touching it again after like 3 days later... -.-
