Post tutorial RSS Modeling Atmospheric Realistic Scenes in GoldSrc

As the GoldSrc M.A.R.S. Scene 1 was created, screenshots were taken from time to time to be able to show the overall process. Below is a general tutorial on how to do such high quality looking scenes but to do this you need years of experience in design and texture work etc. Because a larger number of 512xX textures were used and because each texture or 99% of them are scaled down to 0.5x0.5, what you see is probably near the limit of what GoldSrc can handle. Other scenes will be added later on.
