GoldenEye: Source is a Multiplayer only total conversion modification of Half-Life 2. It is a fan made recreation, released for free, with only one goal in mind; to bring the memories and experiences from the original GoldenEye64 back to life using Source Technology. We want you to look at this mod and remember the first best multiplayer first-person shooter ever made. We are doing our best to bring in the opinions of the community to create a game that everyone is going to enjoy. But, we are not here to recreate the game exactly how it was in GE64, a lot of things have changed since they first designed that game, mainly in technology and gamers experiences. We are here to take the game even further but at the same time provide a lot of those fun elements that hardcore GE64 fans will enjoy. Duuuude, the nostalgia!! Huge thanks to everyone behind this, probably been waiting for like a decade or so! :P And while some of the mechanics seem a little strange, hell, I don't even care at this point (especially considering it's 100% free!). Excellent work fellas!!
installed using WinRAR, didn't let me choose where cant find it in my program files or anywhere else where did it go?
maybe winrar deleted it, check your downloads folder, otherwise download it again.
use installer not winrar version and if it's a winrar then unpack it and launch .exe file and follow installer steps once done shutdown steam then run steam again and then you should see Goldeneye: Source in library list. Thats it. You can click on it and launch the game :)

I keep getting these two error messages ever time I try extracting the files:

The system cannot find the file specified.
Or

Access is denied.

I can't play , I get the .7z extracted to external drive because primary is always chit out of space . Launch Steam , attempt Browse manually but there is no .exe to select
keeping getting crc error, file doesn't work for me. Downloaded on multiple computers still the same issue. Fix the file please

mine downloaded, and installed, but there doesn't seem to be a way to start the game. when I open it I get stress test, options and quit... am I missing something totally obvious or is there a problem?
