When two hyperspace explorers stumbled onto the remote world of Korriban, they never could have guessed the chain of events they were setting into motion. Over the previous centuries, the Sith Empire had grown in size and strength, and Korriban was the very heart of its dominion. The reigning Sith Lord, Marka Ragnos, had just died, sparking a brutal power struggle between rivals Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow. The explorers’ arrival marked the first contact between the Republic and the Sith Empire, and it created at an opportunity to end the power struggle. Naga Sadow seized the moment and rallied the Sith for a pre-emptive strike against the Republic under his leadership.
Sith Empire Aleph Class Fighter.
This is the first of 3 variants, It is armed with 2 Splinter Cannons and 2 light rapid fire guns. These Sith fighters will be slower and more heavily armed then Republic their counterparts.
Model - Nekronata.
looks a bit high poly for a fighter no?
Idk but it looks very nice
irrelevant if the game can't handle the model lol. But yes, the render is nice.
Could you explain what "poly (gon?)" means and how you know this is a high poly model? Thanks in advance :)
to my very basic understanding, all 3D models have polygons in them to form shapes, the higher the polygon count of a model, the smoother the edges look and the more detailed the model looks. However, this can cause performance issues, especially in older games not designed to have high polycounts in them, or lower end machines.
Interesting. Thank you.
Yes G, It is rather high poly for a fighter, mostly unavoidable.. if one wants to be as accurate as possible. However these ships will be used more like gunships in much smaller squads, so there should be no issues from it.
Reminds me of snails with bat wings.
More or less, yes.
wicked design!
Always excited to see more from this!
reminds me of the kyramud ship
beautiful
Yeah I can see that, had not made that connection.
