When two hyperspace explorers stumbled onto the remote world of Korriban, they never could have guessed the chain of events they were setting into motion. Over the previous centuries, the Sith Empire had grown in size and strength, and Korriban was the very heart of its dominion. The reigning Sith Lord, Marka Ragnos, had just died, sparking a brutal power struggle between rivals Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow. The explorers’ arrival marked the first contact between the Republic and the Sith Empire, and it created at an opportunity to end the power struggle. Naga Sadow seized the moment and rallied the Sith for a pre-emptive strike against the Republic under his leadership.
Was messing with some picture hangers on my desk and give me the idea for this thing. Will be a map prop for now unless I think of something for it to used as.
That thing...
I like it
Only thing I could think of would be that if you use this as a building, you can build some sort of scout/drone that does the same things as the Empire's Probe droids in vanilla EAW
It could be some sort of early surface-to-orbit weapon. It kinda reminds me of the Death Star main laser.
It definitely looks like a superweapon.
You should make some animation of something like electric arcs coming from the tips of those three things, whatever they are, and going into that centre thing, whatever it is, and then that centre thing shoots surface-to-orbit (which will shoot occasionally during the battle) or emits electro-magnetic impulse wave (disabling vehicles, droids...) or makes lightning waves damaging nearby units or something.
Yeah, or it's powered and controlled through the force and somehow channels the force energy of a group of Jedi/Sith into a powerful beam that can destroy ships or something like that.
Any of the above are quite feasible, I reckon... :)
The pic on the left would be good used as a listening post...
ööhm this is a huuuge communicationthingy o.O
:D
Maybe something like a scanner. Reveals all enemy units on the battlefield, space and ground
Well you could do it like the land version of that space station that gives you info on enemy systems near you, or you could make it a structure that removes fog of war on a map.
