You are aboard an old merchant vessel sailing homeward after serving as a mercenary with the Imperial Army. The last few years has seen you fighting pirates raiding along the Gold Coast and now finds you shouting to the Captain to turn away from sailing into a violent storm. Trying to fight the ever-increasing rage of its fury is a futile task, and soon the ship is torn asunder by jagged rocks jutting from an uncharted island. You awaken on its shores to find yourself with nothing but your light armor and sword.
