A silencer doesn't really help when you're with an army of bots.
But if you make it possible that enemy players are shown on the minimap when firing a gun without a silencer, that could be useful.
Needs a lot of complex coding.
I didn't say immediately, after all, 0.5 is almost done, no use getting more on the same conveyor belt.
Call of Duty maybe? :D
The entire point of suppressors (silencers is a misnomer, the rounds are still fairly audible outside of firefights) isn't sound but rather reducing flash.
You're mostly right. Silencers are a real-world weapon attachment used to reduce the noise impact (and suppress the noise itself), and often come in two pairs--a barrel attachment, and a bolt attachment (reducing noise from both ends of the gun).
A Suppressor, however, is used more for reducing flash, as Silencers in general, do not reduce flash (though most guns in broad daylight do not produce a typically noticeable muzzle flash).
