GFM is a Victoria 2 mod based on HFM that adds flavor, speed improvements, QoL improvements, and more.
It's been a while since the last release! But trust me, development has only picked up speed in this timeframe. There's just been several reworks that were in progress for a while and needed completing before a new Mod DB release. -Terrain rework centering around the new 2 defense forest hills terrain -Full dismantlement rework where players can decide for each individual releasable country/puppet/core/... of the country being dismantled whether they should lose it -Strait rework that prevents ships from passing if both sides are controlled by an enemy -Bourbon Spain rework with constitutions and revolutions -Precious goods rework with pearl, gem, slave trading and ivory -Renaming rework that adds renaming for parts of the balkans and Russia and makes renaming dynamic to decrease lag -Terrain picture rework with 350+ new terrain pics And, of course, lots of other miscellaneous content has been added, e.g. the Khiva Campaign of 1839, the Anglo-Zanzibari Treaty, flavor events galore...

Both the confederate states and the golden circle are in GFM, I don't know what you mean

Hiya, perhaps I'm missing something, but when I download this and put it in my Victoria 2 file it doesn't appear as an option on the launcher. Any way to fix this?
You need to move the GFM folder and the GFM.mod file out of the master folder as explained in the README.

I had an issue/bug with the last update where some nations spawned using release vassasls, events and changeowner would not have any useable wargoals. For example, I chose to play as one of the chinese warlords after the warlord era fired and I found that I can't use any warogoals. This also sometimes happened to me when I tried New Africa (NAF). I had a game where I released most released in the game to just see how things would go, some nation were just no doing anything, I tag to them to find that they don't have any wargoals at all.
Also had an issue where some countries will never have immigration to some provinces they own on some continent. For example, China will never have immigration to the hawaii if they take it, or Sokoto will never have immgration to the east indies if they take it from the Dutch.
Im having an issue with the more cultures sub mod. Non of the Polonic cultures are added while the Sorbs are down to "noculture".
Don't use MC with DN or SW, it creates that bug, MC isn't compatible with DN and/or MC
I'm wondering how to get the 'Can Ignore Cultural Cores' modifier on countries, or if there is a specific event or decision that makes it happen
It's a long story, don't waste your time with it. The modifier didn't ever work and was purely experimental.

Hi, I encountered what I believe is a bug when playing as the Austrian Empire.
I puppeted Sardinia-Piedmont before the liberal revolutions started to avoid losing Northern Italy and prevent the unification.
When the Italian rebellions started, I got an event where I could give Milan (or the entire Lombardy, not sure) to Sardinia, or keep it and declare war on them. I chose the later as I did not want to lose the province. There was no war, but Sardinia gained Milan anyway (and remained a puppet). Not sure if this was the intended thing to happened but it felt sort of out of place (I thought that by choosing the option to declare war, they would be released and fight a war with me).
But this is just a single issue, on the whole, I love your mod! The amount of flavor is staggering. I cannot even imagine how much effort and time it must be taking. Cheers and keep up the good work.
