GFM is a Victoria 2 mod based on HFM that adds flavor, speed improvements, QoL improvements, and more.

Description

This update adds a lot of content to Edo Period Japan, but also contains the half-finished GFM More Cultures Submod. It is totally stable, just not done yet. Currently it adds 350+ cultures. Additionally, lots of progress has been made on the Dismantlement Rework. Cleanup has also been reworked to be more efficient and increase game speed. As always, there is new miscellaneous flavor, e.g. the BASF, Otto Lilienthal, the Miracle of the Sun, Hungary-Romania as a formable, accurate Romani pops throughout Europe, etc. Lastly, a lot of previous bugs are now fixed. Hi, I started playing the mod recently. I'm enjoying it so far, probably the best mod I ever played for Vic2 – however, something that keeps annoying me is the abscence in which the IA takes Punitive Expeditions on Qing. Even the UK doesn't even takes Hong Kong.
Why is the IA acting in such a manner?

after playing a bit, i've worked it out, the game will instantly peace the UK out with Qing with no changes. meaning they will not can never gain a treaty port

You NEED to use the Large Address Aware patch.

Don't use all the mods at once, just the core GFM one and a few of te others.

Hi i can play with GFM but idk how to use submods i want to take the dynamic nation too, but when i select GFM and the submods (IDK if i need to do like that) when i start the game it load and then it crash on loading screen, any help?

Dynamic nations only works with core GFM mod and the subculture mod, not the others.

Also you NEED to use the Large Address Aware patch.

Howdy partner! So, i enabled in the Vic2 launcher those mods -> "Great Flavor Mod", "GFM Performance Increase Submod", "GFM More Cultures Submod (WIP)", "GFM Dynamic Nations Submod" and "GFM Belle Cartographie Dark Submod". The problem is that when i launch the game, it starts loading but some seconds later it crashes, and i really dont know why, can you help me friend?

Dynamic Nations is very unstable depending on your PC, I'd recommend leaving it off if you have experienced crashes.

I am having an issue running the mod. I have GFM and all the sub mods enabled except for Shattered World, but the game crashes on the loading screen, specifically of 'Loading History'. Is there any fix to this issue?

Hey,just finished a Germany campaign (yes, I know,very daring) and I was wondering if it was in your plans to do some event regarding the land of Congress Poland if it was freed from Russia after a Great War. Something like a) Annex the whole thing and gain significant infamy and a massive relations hit and maybe a wargoal for Austria if it exists and owns Galicia (A-H in otl was very combative of Germany's ambitions in Poland early on in WW1) b) Do the "Polish Border Strip" proposal and puppet or let go of the rest and gain some infamy and not so major relations damage with Austria or c) Keep Poland intact and allow it to be independent. Idk, I think it could be good flavor. Great mod, anyway, appreciate your effort

Hello. I have run into some errors that aren't game breaking but nevertheless break the immersion a bit. First is that Lusatia, whenr eleased, has noculture as primary culture. It would this is due to the lines that set the primary culture in my save file are missing for Lusatia. Sweden also has a lot of "noculture" population in the north. Finally, the event to claim sao tome keeps being available after picking it, which makes the ai continue to take it, increasing its prestige to incredible levels but having an insane amount of infamy. Hope this helps improve the mod.
