This is a mod that the pirates ahoy Gof teem has been working on for Age Of Pirates 2: City of abandoned Ships. It builds upon the Combined Mod V 3.2 It is incredibly life like, true to period and very addictive. We have added, redone or recreated over 100 ships, many items, places, actions, hero's and the interface of AoP CoAS. There are more recently popular characters included as well as previous characters re-textured. It is the CM mod on steroids and it is the perfect Age of Sail/Pirate/New world simulator. enjoy!

do i have to install coas again? then do i need to install GoF 1.0? or just install the 1.2 then the patch?
This is a full release package, the incremental patch is much smaller.

its a pity that I have to start a new game cause I have very good saves where I spent hours of working on :(

im going to get the game in probly a week and im new to this mod thing. do i need download the origanal version of this mod and work my way up or just download this one and have all the features?

Aop CoAS = Age of Pirates : City of Abandoned Ships, and if I may add, sherlock..
Doesn't work for me, when i try to extract the file he says "Could not open as archive", no matter if i try it with winrar or 7zip.
i have installed GOF 1.2 patch 1.0 but my Black Pearl crew are flying over the deck, why aren't they walking on deck?
please help.
Seems to be a bug that's not fixed, i think they have stopped backing this mod in favor of version 2.0 so i am not sure it will be patched again
that is wierd,beacuse in the combined mod the black pearl's crew were walking just fine,i gues when it was ported to gof it messed up =P,they could just check the old script

I have a bit of a problem there are several ships that I am not allowed to board. and that is even if they have lost they sails and i am right NeXT to them.
This seems to be a bug that is occuring for many, as i understand it there's some sort of conflict with the script to allow surrendering? not sure, but this game breaking bug caused me to revert to gof 1.1.2, thread about it here piratesahoy.net/threads/cant-board-anyone-can-be-boarded.18963/ add the www.. i can't post links :P

If anyone is getting the runtime error try installing the game outside of the programfiles/programfiles(x86) folders. this may fix your problem by routing some securities involving things in those folders.

just out of curiosity, is there a way to give myself a certain ship? Like the Queen Anne's Revenge or the Dutchman while i'm playing Jack? Because i've been searching for either one for months and I can't find it.

I'm confused a bit. Please, can someone tell: does "fresh copy" means unpatched version, version with the latest patch for CoAS? 'Cause, IMHO, "fresh version" can mean both.

It mean a copy of CoAS with no Mod installed. Just the original game itself.
There is a small bug (or even a huge bug) that the price of ships(2 ships so far, 1 Peter Blood captured ship and 1 ship from pirate) reduce to 0 after reparing at Shipyard. It is wierd...! Any1 got the same problem?

How is everyone installing the game, you can't just dump all the files in the directory like it says? The install tutorial is absolute crap. I would rather not go through all 7700+ files...
What happened? I followed the instructions, copied over the files and started up the game... but it still acts like vanilla. What did I do wrong?

I Have just installed GoF on this magnificent game, ive been playing an hour or so when I realized im no longer am able to use the "sail to" command and then quick sail to shores, or light houses but ONLY to forts, is this intentional or is something wrong?
