Does mod invalidate the random A.I. encounters?

AI encounters are in there, if that's what you mean. I made custom patrol zones and patrol paths but they all work.

Didn't you also do the phoenix mod? I remember getting hanged up at honshu or somewhere.Anyway, if this enhances the game and keeps it feeling "vanilla" then I know I'll enjoy this mod too.

hi!
before I write anything, just for the record, yes, I'm a total noob in applyng mods to freelancer and I'm to lazy to google my question...
I wanted to ask you do I have to intall Genesis v 1.o OSP before installing v1.1?

No you don't. The new version is a standalone all inclusive package, so pretend 1.0 doesn't exist and go straight to the 1.1 version :)

Why do the planets have to spin at like 9,999,999 RPM?

Don't exaggerate, but they have been slowed down for the next update

So, can this be used with a patched version of vanilla FL?

Doesn't matter if you've patched FL or not, my files overwrite whatever you've patched.

Hello!

I downloaded the Genesis 1.1 OSP.
Unpack it in the \mods folder of FLMM 1.5 beta.
Then start the FLMM.
At opening following message is displayed: There was a problem while inspecting one or more mods in the \mods folder.
The log in the FLMM says:

'Unable to load mod!
Error: This mod (Genesis 1.1 OSP mod by Gibbon) doesn't contain any files under the DATA, DLLS, or BIN folders, so it wouldn't modify anything!
Check the folder structure for this mod.
Found mod: C:\Program Files (x86)\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\Genesis 1.1 OSP mod by Gibbon' .

Also is not displayed in the list of possible mods.

Can anybody addvice how to proceed?

BR,
Vladimir

Clearly you haven't read the included README file. You need an earlier version of FLMM, namely 1.3. Don't think the mod will work with 1.5 due to the way it parses script files

Hi again and thank you for a inmediate response!
I'm impressed and grateful! :)

Actually I read it but didn't pay attention.
I'll try it and share the results! :)

Ok,
Uninstalled FLMM 1.5 and installed Freelancer Mod Manager 1.31. Not works. The same message for error. Where can i find version 1.3? 1.31 is the oldest i find.

Hello guys! I am a newbie here, and I am currently downloading Genesis_1.1_OSP_mod_by_Gibbon.zip; so can anyone please explain to me how to install it and how it works? Are there any rules for instalation or just unzipping? Thanks

freelancer mod manager version 1.31 most commonly used.
1st install freelancer vanilla (unmodded) game.
2nd install mod manager
3rd unzip genesis mod extension .flmod is handled by mod manager

have fun - most mods start with strong AI ships be careful whom you tick off
