I was wondering what sort of tech we would see for the Euros
Is it heavy tank divisions, defences, a sort of Reich (Not Nazi) style Europe aiming to defend from russia
What sort of unique twists will we see on Europe to make it different from Rise of the Reds and Deep Impact for example

Well, I cant reveal all secrets at the moment. We will try to make EU as much unique, as possible, both relative to the other factions in Afterburn and to EU faction in the other mods.
Just one thing I could tell: EU will rely on barelled artillery, and number of units with missile weaponry will be minimised.

European Union is not the Fourth Reich, it is quite the opposite. I wish this mod would have United States vs Fourth Reich vs New Soviet Union, you know like a three way conflict. Maybe the rise of the New Soviet Union leads to the return of Nationlism in Germany.
If you are watching news on TV, you'll see that EU slowly transforms into some kind of reich, and it could occur regardless of the fact of USSR existense. Moreover, if Soviet Union will rise again, many people will see the alternative to way which european polititians lead their people.
If European Union is the new Reich then why you cant wave a Nazi flag in Europe without being arrested? How many idiots believe that the European Union is the Fourth Reich? If the European Union is the Fourth Reich I am sure the United States would condemn them. There are Neo-Nazi and Nationalist movements in Europe but, they are not the politicians in power. North Korea is more like the Fourth Reich than the European Union.
