Worst Half-Life 2 mod ever made. You play as Gasmask Citizen that must do things and shooty shoot thingies and defeat evil in the most epic style.
Lately the joke mod genre has been really dry. I miss the good old days when it was thriving. Surprisingly though, when this mod came out I didn't play it immediately. I suppose I was a little skeptical because it was a Gasmask Citizen meme mod. My friend was actually the one who suggested this to me. I don't really play mods that much anymore tbh.
That out of the way, let me actually review the mod.
Let me start by saying this mod blew me away. At first it was just kind of a basic mod with not too much going on. Some weapon reskins, a story and such. That's basically all I saw in the short gameplay clips, so my hopes weren't the highest they could be. It definitely starts off slow, but pulls you in over time. It's just basic combat at first but further into the mod is when it really shines. You could tell that this mod was made over a period of months, and the creator started to really enjoy working on it because it completely shifts directions. They put ton of effort into this mod and it was really enjoyable to play. It took a drastic turn in terms of This mod is special. I should've seriously played it sooner. Definitely worth downloading. Believe me, I have a lot of experience with joke mods and this one stuck out. Play it!
