A submod for Westeros: Total War designed to bring the look, the feel and the sounds of HBO's Game of Thrones to the world of Westeros. Hello, Gerard over at TWC has made a lot of unit descriptions for the units in the mod, he has also made some traits/ancillaries that are now properly in use in the mod- alternatives are in 3 separate folders in the data-folder as well. i've updated the GoT Enhanced SUBMOD for the first time in two years now. It didn't get the rest of the minor faction units, as it would be a waste to add them here if we are going to work on F&B later anyway. However, it does include the rest of the unit_cards, most symbols/banners done, new Roose/Stannis/Joffrey/Tywin-custom model heroes in the custom battles and in the campaign, custom settlements from Westeros 1.0 excluding the Moat Cailin-settlement due to trouble implementing it - it might be added in a patch later, fixed some silver surfer units in the Nights Watch-roster etc. Might have done additional smaller changes. - Also, Peaman might help me implement Moat Cailin, and possibly a larger map. It will be a simple update whenever it's done

Was not expecting this, version 5.0 of the Game of Thrones Enhanced Mod for Medieval 2: Total War. The first video I did for this mod is really what put my channel on the YouTube map, so I hope this video is able to help out close to 50k people also. getting crashs playing as targaryens in custom battles :/
Every time I try to load the campaign it crashes to desktop. The mod used to work fine but for some reason it now crashes. I tried reinstalling the mod but it still does it, any ideas on what to do?
did you try quick battle first? also he did say it might CTD a few times before being playable.

Don't want to be rude, but could someone tell me what makes this mod different /better/ from Fire & Blood mod? What makes it worth to install?
This is an older mod set only in Wo5K- using different gameplay features, scripts etc.
Fire & Blood is a later mod that got inspired by this one. It actually aimed to be a new version of this mod at first.
I'd say they are different mods with many similar models. F&B is using the models first used here. But this mod has a tiny map in comparison to Fire&Blood; which is using the Westeros 1.0 map but enhanced.
This mod is going to have SGI's map in the future.
i am getting the kingdoms.exe not found error when installing this mod. what could be wrong. have already tried copy and pasting the medieval2.exe and renaming it kingdoms. changed it as kingdoms.exe. still nothing. i do not have vanilla mod for medieval 2. could that be the issue. but i am running stainless steel 6.4 and it works perfectly. please help.

found the fix. firstly i dont have steam verison of medieval 2 total war and neither the vanilla mod of medieval 2. IF you also do not have the steam version, heres what you do. download the file. it is extract the file anywhere. what you will see is this folder name "GoT_Enhanced.2". inside this folder will be the actual mod folder named as "GoT_Enhanced". you will copy this GoT_Enhanced folder to your medieval 2 total war/ mod folder. run the game via "Executable" batch file. you do not need to do any copy paste the "medieval2.exe" bs with this. neither do you have to rename the GoT_Enhanced once its inside the mod folder. that works and is required for only steam players. just make sure you have kingdoms installed. hope that helps.
Yes, because it's set-up for the CD and not for Steam. You'd need to edit the .bat-file and change .Kingdoms or Kingdoms.exe (CD) into medieval2.exe or .medival2. Can't be bothered to remember which one is correct.
Are there no more custom voices for the generals anymore? Or did I install wrong? Never ran into the problem before (been playing this mod since 2017)

Glad to hear it worked well for you. Cause it does have a lot of unstability for some factions. Will all be fixed with the new map.
What's the difference between this and fire and blood mod?
This is a different older mod. Fire and Blood got inspired by this one and is using the same models plus other models. This mod has different scripts and gameplay and a tiny map currently.

This unfortunately doesn"t work for me.. every other mod is working but this one is saying that kingdoms not found.. :/ i have made a copy of kingdoms just like in your video and still nothing :/ :(

No Banners? Cant find banners Descr file, no way to enable?

I added Show_banners=1 to cfg file and it worked, so far lol, any hints let me know inc size increase too? Tell me if ive done something wrong please, will fix.

I'm confused, I downloaded the (Westeros total war main mod) but on yours you say it is a (Submod) but everything I've seen feels like a mod in general, but the pics you have uploaded do not match what i have when i Play it. theres no night watch or free peoples etc
It's a submod cause the original was the Westeros alpha - but it is stand-alone and doesn't require Westeros to work.
The pics are of a new unreleased version.
