My team, jkberna and Djodar, my various esteemed collaborators such as Siber and Avatar II of the HW@ mod, and myself are proud to bring you the Galactic Council Mod, a bold project intended to show you just what really was behind those hyperspace gates at the end of the original Homeworld. So far there are three totally new races on the drawing board-- two totally original new races-- the Czalkir and the DR1, and another based off of actual Relic concept art that has come to be called the Lizaanj.

As some are aware, Homeworld Universe Mod was not where MelvinVM shared his goals.
I am aware that it might be a bit confusing at first, but im not simply jumping over. This Galactic Council mod has a goal similar to mine, which is keeping homeworld 2 as it is, but just make complete, new races for it, making it a complete homeworld 2, but not the old flashbacks of the homeworld 1 stuff, or giving more advanced and new units to the existing races, just a new mod, which adds new races, new tactics, new ways of having fun with the old game. I simply want to make the best out of my work, but this does not mean I'm letting the homeworld universe project down, as other mod developers, I will still be donating my race to the massive project if it ever gets done.

Not dead but also not alive
There are currently 3 new races added to the game, lizaanj, Dr1 and Czalkir- all heavily bugged.
Doci7 and Djodar were the mod hodding and scripting guys, went missing, and i couldn't do it:s I just model and texture, so i gave up work on it.
Recently ajlsunrise and gthompsn have offered their help on the mod
The main problem in this mod i think is the AI, i don't think it will be possible to have ai for 5 races (the original 2+ the new 3). So that will be the first problem to tackle. I really liked working on this mod, so i hope it can go on.

The most finished race to this point are the lizaanj, that have continuously worked on all this time.
This mod appears to have died... :(

Yes, Doci, our (currently missing) team leader, is on a mac, so it wouldn't be much good if he couldn't play it!
