Since the 2020 Retail launch the 2011 release was renamed to: G STRING - BETA and in the future the G STRING - ULTIMATE EDITION is coming. Also don't be confused about the "Developer: LunchHouse Software" part. This is the G String Beta you are looking for, the one made by Eyaura. The display was changed because LunchHouse helped me a lot in publishing the game and this will help us both in promoting our work. Which reminds me: they're making PUNT! Go check it out! Since there is no way to list this on MODDB like on Steam (Developer: Eyaura, Publisher: LunchHouse Software) this is the best solution. Thanks and have fun!

Description

Yes, working hard... no time for any epic updates. But work is being done. I hope to put out a lot more media close to the finish line. For now I only have these monthly signals that the mod is alive... Actually last month there were no signals, my time flies.

Patience, patience. The whole mod is being reworked from the ground up, most things are done but some stuff still is unfinished. I plan on finishing all asset production before going in for a last, massive mapping marathon.

HUD and menu are done.

The weapons and items are done.

Vehicles are done.

Textures are done.

Story is finalized mostly. Chapters are back- 12 of them each roughly an hour long. Probably more for the first timer- maps are a lot more detailed and focused than in V1 so there is more stuff to do in each.

Visuals are figured out - there will be more variety not just "dilapidated suburbs". Some megalomaniac buildings, air refineries, laboratories and more.

Props are done, some humanoid NPCs still need to be replaced which is what I'm doing now.

Sound work is done save for 2 characters but I will deal with that in the coming weeks. Can't believe how hard it is to find female voice actors. I guess I'll record them myself.

And then it is time for mapping. Also biohazard will do some more coding magic to polish things up.

As for me- a lot of mapping is coming up, I am hopeful I will be done this year (no I am NOT promising it will be released this year but who knows...) because I have tons of prefabs and geometry from previous versions laying around so I won't really be building maps from scratch anymore.

Anyway these are the plans but: "ember tervez, Isten végez". Hungarians will know what that means.

Thanks for those who have helped me for their contributions and for the rest- thank you for your patience.
