Since the 2020 Retail launch the 2011 release was renamed to: G STRING - BETA and in the future the G STRING - ULTIMATE EDITION is coming. Also don't be confused about the "Developer: LunchHouse Software" part. This is the G String Beta you are looking for, the one made by Eyaura. The display was changed because LunchHouse helped me a lot in publishing the game and this will help us both in promoting our work. Which reminds me: they're making PUNT! Go check it out! Since there is no way to list this on MODDB like on Steam (Developer: Eyaura, Publisher: LunchHouse Software) this is the best solution. Thanks and have fun!

Description

Monthly update time.
Humanoids are also done, all assets are pretty much serviceable but I will most likely spend another week polishing them and then I'll return to mapping "full time."

I plan on renaming g String V2 to simply G String...

Stanley Parable and Dear Esther didn't get their name changed when they got upgraded. "V2" makes it seem like its just another version and there will be others after it- which is very highly not likely. This release will be the mod as it was intended to be in the first place, all the bells and whistles.

Maybe I can call it "the definitive edition" - I guess it should be differentiated from the 2011 release.

Maybe G String 2015 or (2016). Depending on which year it'll be out.

You guys be the judge, pick one of these names or suggest new ones.

Also I could go the episodic release way and release the first third of the mod in maybe 2/3 months but since the episodic approach failed astronomically in my view I won't do that.
