Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

is that a solid field of fog, or is it patchy? meaning are there parts where its gets thicker and thinner, or is it just a consistent mass?
It very much varies depending on your location within the nebula. It can get thicker than what's shown here, but it never becomes fully opaque like vanilla (it can, but not here).
Just curious now that you have a diverging timeline etc. etc. do you plan on adding any other little personal touches to the Star Wars universe?
No. The story may be somewhat divergent, but we won't be doing anything drastic. It's the same universe with the same entities, so nothing will turn out terribly differently.
No made up ships, no cross-universe stuff, no starships from 10,000 BBY, etc.
I don't believe someone will answer me, but... when will there be a new release? I can't wait for playing that awesome game! I saw the awesome pictures of it and i can't breath! I've playied that mod till i get a MC80, when there where cylinders with ships inside...

Aaaand... will there be Zann Consortium ships? Like the Aggressor-class Destroyer ( Starwars.wikia.com ) and the StarViper?
No. The Zann Consortium is outside of our considered canon.
