I've been hoping someone would make a mod like this since the game came out. Now we have it.

One question though, I'm nearing 100% completion on my vanilla Fuel game, I'm wondering if I can install this and carry on with that save.

It should be possible yes, the mod works with my vanilla save at around 100% completion so it should be fine for you also. Its recommended you do however backup your saved-game first... just in the rare case a problem does arise. If you experience any issues let me know.

Thanks for the reply.

I got impatient and installed anyway. Seems to be working great so far. As long as I can clean up my last few achievements, I'm excited.

I enabled the VGA palette, and several skins are now bright pink. Is that a corruption in the save, or a side effect of remapping the palette?

Thanks a ton for putting the work in to this, since Asobo/Codemasters obviously didn't care to finish the awesome base they had built.

By 'Skins' do you mean liveries? Which vehicles are you experiencing the problems on?

The colors don't actually effect the saved game in any way. Essentially there are 10 color slots... each slot can have a color assigned to it, the saved game remembers which color slot the vehicle is using, but not the actual color itself within the slot. This allows the colors within the slots to be changed at will without any saved game issues.

I've not experienced any issues personally, its more than likely to be an issue with the VGA color palette mod itself, - however in the next release there will be a few revisions to how the custom colors are handled, I've also developed a program that will allow players to set vehicles with 10 RGB colors of their choice (without having to do any manual scripting). This will be out next week at some point.
