First, thanks for the mod. It's great stuff, and I still love firing up this game for some freeroam driving. Since installing, though, I seem to have lost day-night cycling in Free Drive/Roam. Any ideas why? Thanks. |

The day-night cycle length was increased to 2 hrs 30 minutes in V15 so it may appear like its been removed if your accustom to the really short day/night cycle in FUEL (Default was 15 minutes I think). At some point I will be providing installation-options so that the day/night cycle length can be chosen (but probably wont be till V15.4 after new year). |

Ah, OK, gotcha, thanks. I hadn't noticed the sun moving across the sky at all, but I don't think I was in for testing for more than 20 minutes or so. A selectable cycle length on install would be great. |

On a side note; Is there a way to control the day:night ratio? °dA |

There is in fact a way - in pp001.tsc PP 371 is the value to set length, the formula being 24 * 60 / [PP 371] - e.g. 96 being 15 minutes and 9.6 being 150 minutes. What I'm trying to do is find a way to pull each of these values out of this main packed file so that each set of settings has its own unique file. That way I could provide a range of setups via the mod manager (and people can share there own edits of this file / or merely just be able to back up there settings and switch between them as they wish). Update:
If you want your own length then you only have to change a single value in the script, thus I'm not going to create hundreds of different scripts with all different values, other than the most commonly used / most suitable etc. |
