Frontline Chaos is a Total Conversion mod for C&C Generals Zero Hour. It will replace the original sides, and introduce two brand new armies: Revenant and Legion. The mod's goals are to supply a completely new story, including campaigns for both sides, and a balanced and fun multiplayer experience.
In its most basic form, a Modular Cargo Truck (or MCT for short) is a large 8x8 flatbed truck used by Revenant forces in various roles. These range from cargo transport to launching platform for ballistic missiles. Its powerful diesel engine is strong enough for the truck to carry virtually any load that fits on the back. While not as heavily armoured as a tank, it carries enough armour to shrug off most small-arms fire. Besides the 8x8 version, a shorter 6x6 version is also used when manoeuvrability is needed for smaller cargoes.

Judging by this picture, I'm assuming it's the most multipurpose vehicle in the mod/faction?
Currently the chassis is used for 3 buildable units (Valkyrie, Cobra and Venom), so I think you can see it as that indeed.
