FreeHeretic is a project based on the code sources of Heretic. It's goal is to create a free stand-alone Heretic game, 100% from scratch and GPL.
- The source port used is being developed by BadSector, but the wad should be compatible with all of the other engines that fully support Heretic.
- The first three episodes will be recreated. The next two episodes 4 and 5, could possibly be deathmatch-geared levels.
- The project will be licensed under the GNU GPL.
- Contributions of any kind, as long as it's from scratch, are absolutely welcome!
