Free Ride 0.9 mod by ErcVitez for base Mafia 2 game without DLCs.

The goal of the mod:
the player start with minimal money and have to steal cars, robbing shops etc. to earn money.
At the start:
- 500$ money
- 15 garage slots
- only one car
- no weapon, neiter lockpicks
- empty map without markers
- all homes and shops (Bruski, Derek, etc...) are open

HOW TO INSTALL
Make a backup!
Copy the folders and files from the FreeRideErc folder into the game's main folder and overwrite it ("..\Mafia II\" folder)

HOW TO START
Start Mafia 2 > The Story > Free Ride > Choose Weather (Summer is 1950s, Winter is 1940s)

HOW TO SAVE
Go in the garage > Exit (Autosave)
OR
Go Home (any) > go near bed > Go To Sleep? > Yes
At this time the weather will change: Day > Day Rain/Snow > Night >

HOW TO LOAD
The Story > Continue Story
Note: don't play story mode at this time or your save will be overwritten!

how do i enter the mansion in hillwood?
I think you cannot.
Is it possible to install this mod while leaving the original car names? I love the mod but I'm rather attached to the default names for cars.
The car names are in the text_default.sds file, try to not copy that into the original folder. If I didn't change anything else in that file (I can't remember, it was a long time ago) it will keep the game car names.
No, the real car names are part of this mod if I recall correctly. I'll check it for you.
