Forgotten is a mappack for Portal in development since early 2008. Rough drafts of the tests were being drawn up in November 2008, and were finished the following January. Starting in March, maps were remade (and some were built ground up) on Still Alive DS. The SADS version was done by early 2009. After plenty of debate, the sketches were redrawn from the ground up again, maintaining many of the chambers from the SADS version and Rough Draft. In September 2010, mapping Forgotten for the Source engine began. Forgotten IS my first attempt at making a mappack, so I really appreciate all advice, whether it's expert or novice help. Within, there are spark halls, crushing ceilings, momentumus challenges, bizarre situations, a new AI, and a story about a test....running a little late. It is currently 7 chambers done and has an expected release of December 2012. 12/12/12.

Please Improve your skills. A lot more. To aid you, I will tell you what needs to be improved in this image.
-Lighting
----------Lighting needs to have an actual origin, such as an observation room, or a wall light. It should not be randomly placed in the middle of space in a room. Light doesn't just come out of nowhere in real life, and it shouldn't in a videogame. Developer.valvesoftware.com
-Textures
----------Textures need MAJOR improvement. At the moment, they are very repetitive and boring. Spice it up a bit by adding more textures, bits of textures that are at different angles and distances from the walls. DO NOT PUT A WALL TEXTURE ON THE FLOOR and fix misaligned textures. Developer.valvesoftware.com
-Room design
-------------Not much to comment on in this regard from the screenshot, however, this chamber is too large. You may say that the largeness is required, but it is not. You can keep the same puzzle with a smaller room, if you just reorganise it. Often making it smaller also improves the layout of the puzzle, making it much more rewarding to solve and also adds to the feeling, as demonstrated in many great maps, a slightly claustrophobic feeling.

These are just 3 things that should be changed, and by doing these things, your mapping skills and acceptance of your level will greatly increase.

Thank you for your comments, they really help me find what to focus on, improve, and remove. This is my first mod.
