Kv-1 was heavy when it was produced and use mostly (year 1941) - there were no german guns which could penetrate this tank armor at reasonable distance in 1941.

The KV was a very good heavy tank. And in 1942 it already had 110mm of frontal armor

KV crews where asked to send feedback for improving the KV. The only request was=More firepower

The answer=OK we'll increase the speed!By reducing armor!

wait whut?

YES I've been waiting for Eastern Front the entirety of the mod. But, pretty random models to reveal first, not even KV-1, but KV-1S! And Su-152? So random, lol. But, not complaining, cannot wait for Eastern Front!!!!!!

Well for a good map with the KV-1s we ofcourse need the KV model 1942 (Or KV-1c) with a lovely 110mm frontal armor, 90mm side and 120mm frontal turret and side armour

Description

The KV-1S.

The KV-1S was introduced in late 1942 with 1,370 tanks produced. It was based off the pre-existing KV-1, and featured lighter armor, a smaller turret, along with a 76mm gun. As a result, the KV-1S was faster, with a top speed of 43 km/h. The heavy tank was also the first tank to feature a commander's cupola with all-around vision blocks, which was a first for Soviet heavy tanks. However, with the thinner armor, the tank was called into question since the T-34 could do everything the KV could do.

The KV-1S was made by Toddel.
