No more scanning. Frigging awesome. Just started playing so uh, will discover the other changes as I go :) And as you said, jacob with an assault rifle fits better with his backstory.
In addition to actually making him useful that is :)
Yes, I find Jacob to be one of the most useful squad members when he finally got assault rifle. Now he has everything an offensive squad member needs - good weapon, ammo power, barrier and pull for combo with warp explosion. With assault rifle he now rivals with Zaeed, Garrus, Thane and Grunt for the role of muscles in team.
theres one thing that has been bodering me with this mod.
i cant recall barriers being rechargeable....
the only thing a barrier can do is reactivate right?
or my ME 1 knowledge got a bit sloppy
When we play with Adept or Vanguard class, our shields are marked as violet color on user interface. This is what I call barrier. The biotic skill barrier works as usual - if someone has it, it can be recast.
Sorry for vague description. For player it's only a color difference but for the game it's a different type of defence.
