A new Set of Strategic Icons are coming. image - (F.B.P.) Orbital mod for Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance
Future Battlefield Pack: Orbital is a Standalone Modification for Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. It adds a fully new designed Orbital Techtree into the Game with AI Support, several different types of Spaceships, Orbital Structures and some other Space related Content to all Faction's. The Mod itself is currently still in WIP and will be released here, when it's ready for it.
Next to of the Main Menu Feature.
I'm working on a initial new Set of Strategic Icons for FBP Orbital.
The Set will be available for FAF, Steam and Loud.
However the Installation will be look like so in the future:
For Steam and Loud you will need to install a SCD File in the Gamedata Folder. This SCD File includes all new Strategic Icons for FBP Orbital.
After that you will just need to activate the Mod in the Mod Manager (if installed) and enjoy the new Strategic Icons on the Spaceships, Orbitalstructures and more.
On FAF a Installation of a SCD File is not necessary.
Because FAF has get its own Custom Strategic Icon Support.
It will get the Icons automatically from the Mod and makes them visible in the Game.
The Picture presents you the Strategic Icons for these following Units:
Cybran Tech 1 Corvette (Spaceship)
Aeon Elite Extermination Bot
(A Land Unit, which is buildable on the new Techlevel Tab Elite)
Note:
The current Development Design of the new Strategic Icons is based on the ones from the Game itself. However it is possible that we will see an another Set with an different Design for them in the future.
